Record of events: On 21 Apr 45, the washroom setup continued. In afternoon co. moved into the Steckby Forest again with the mission of clearing out the woods to Funder Creek. The Co. cleared the woods and in heavy rain set up a defensive position near the creek, put out listening posts and gave protection to the engineers while they blew bridges on the roads to Eicholz. The 2d Pltn was sent back to its position at Badetz. At dark the 2d moved out into position on "A" Co's left flank and the pltn in the woods were relieved by "K" Co and rtd to position around Badetz.
